Oil & Gas

Offshore oil and gas campaigns run to tight operational windows and long-standing assurance expectations. We support operators, contractors and vessel owners through construction, transportation and installation work, from procedural development and lift planning onshore through to vessel operations offshore. Much of it means working around live assets and existing infrastructure, and the constraints that come with them.

  • Offshore construction and installation planning
  • Heavy-lift engineering and rigging studies
  • Transportation, loadout and marine logistics
  • Offshore vessel operations support
  • Vessel assurance and suitability surveys

Renewables

Offshore wind, wave and tidal projects concentrate a great deal of marine activity into short weather windows. We support developers, contractors and vessel operators through the planning and execution of those campaigns, covering foundation and turbine installation, array and export cable lay, and the marine logistics that keep them moving. Much of our work sits between the engineering package and the vessel: turning an installation method into procedures a crew can work to offshore.

  • Foundation and turbine installation planning
  • Array and export cable installation engineering
  • Cable lay, pull-in and recovery support
  • Transportation, loadout and marine logistics
  • Marine warranty and vessel assurance support

Shipping & Marine

Owners, managers and charterers need to know the condition of a vessel before it is committed to a project. We provide independent marine surveying, vessel assurance and technical advisory support across the commercial fleet, from suitability surveys ahead of charter to condition assessments and inspection work carried out to recognised industry standards. Findings are reported as observed, so decisions rest on what is actually there.

  • Vessel assurance and suitability surveys
  • IMCA CMID inspection capability
  • Condition assessments and in-water inspection
  • Technical verification and FMEA support
  • Marine advisory and investigation support

Infrastructure

Coastal and marine infrastructure covers cable landfalls, port and harbour works, subsea crossings and nearshore construction. These projects bring civil, marine and vessel activity together in shallow and often exposed water. We support the marine side of them: how the work is sequenced, what floats it, what lifts it, and how it is carried out safely in restricted water depth.

  • Marine construction planning and task sequencing
  • Nearshore and landfall installation support
  • Lift planning, rigging and mooring spread layouts
  • Marine logistics and vessel coordination
  • HAZID and HAZOP participation support

Aquaculture

Fish farm sites depend on mooring systems, feed barges and support vessels holding station in exposed water, season after season. We provide engineering and marine operational support to aquaculture operators and their contractors, covering mooring analysis and layout, site installation and relocation planning, and inspection of the equipment that keeps a site on position.

  • Mooring system analysis and spread layouts
  • Site installation and relocation planning
  • Vessel and workboat assurance support
  • Mooring and equipment inspection support
  • Marine operational and advisory support
